    Which one should I use just at home? Home edition sounds more user friendly but i heard corp edition let's you do stuff concerning hacks...

    can anyone clarify me on this?

    Corp. Edition has a few more features and allows you greater control over the workings of WinXP.

    Home edition needs activated. Corporate does not.

    Othere than that, there is no difference.

    XP Pro/Corp has better support for advanced features such as Multi-processor systems and does not have to be activated.

    Pro/Corp allows you to turn off "Simple File Sharing" and, as a result, set permissions on your shared folders. Home leaves your shares wide open for anyone who finds them, giving them full read and write access (as I understand it).
