Wasn't there a Whole topic devoted to acoustic songs recently?

It would help if you told us what style of music u are into if you are looking 4 suggestions.
IMHO Dave Grohl did a wicked acoustic version of Everlong on the radio a couple of years ago. Should be able to get that from Kazaalite.

The guy from Queens of the Stone Age did an amazing acoustic version of "No one knows" on BBC Radio 1 a while ago. Thats a good acoustic song to learn.

I've never been able to find a copy of that live track though.. if anyone has it let me know

Sorry didnt mean to take the thread OT. Here are some nice links for tablature.

Try learning the moonlight sonata from the classical guitar page, it took me about a month to get it but it's absolutely beautiful and very satisfying to play.

Blind Guardian - The Bards Song -In The Forest

THE BARD'S SONG - IN THE FOREST
                                by Blind Guardian

Hello, again people - now here's the thing that I promised
to send about a year ago - but as we say in Russia -
    "better late than never!".

      Intro:

    E|-0----------------------------------------|
    B|----3-1-0--0--1-0----0--------1--3-1-0-1--|
    G|------------------0-----2--0--------------|
    D|------------------------------------------|
    A|-0----------------------------0-----------|
    E|-----------3---------0--------------------|

    E|-0----------------------------------------|
    B|----3-1-0--0--1-0----0--------------------|
    G|------------------0-----2--0--2-----------|
    D|------------------------------------------|
    A|-0----------------------------0-----------|
    E|-----------3---------0--------------------|

    E|-0---------------------------------------------------------|
    B|-----3--1--0---0---1--0------0-------------1---3--1--0--1--|
    G|-------------------------0--------2----0-------------------|
    D|-----------------------------------------------------------|
    A|-0-----------------------------------------0---------------|
    E|---------------3-------------0-----------------------------|
    |                                                          |
    E|-12--10-8------------------------------8----------8----10--|
    B|-----------12--12---10---8---8---10-12-----12--------------|
    G|-----------------------------------------------------------|

    E|-0-------------------------------------------------|
    B|-----3--1--0---0---1--0------0---------------------|
    G|-------------------------0--------2----0----2------|
    D|---------------------------------------------------|
    A|-0------------------------------------------0------|
    E|---------------3-------------0---------------------|
    |                                                  |
    E|-8--10--8--7---7--------------------7--8--/12~-----|
    B|--------------------10---8---8---10----------------|
    G|---------------------------------------------------|

    Start Singing

    E---0---------------------------------
    B--------3---1---0----0---1---0---1---
    G-------------------------------------
    D-------------------------------------
    A---0-----------------------------0---
    E----------------3----0---------------

        Now  you all ..............

        Before chorus
    E-------------------------------------
    B-------------------------------------
    G---5--5-4--4-2--2-4------------------
    D-------------------------------------

Here it comes... the solo, no ... THE SOLO!!! It isn't that hard
but it took me about a year to tab it. At first my ears were too
weak, and the thing seemed too hard, then when I got tougher I
just couldn't spare any time to sit down and listen. At last, today
morning I decided - I'll do it ! So now I've finished the second part

of the solo, when I pick more I'll send it ASAP.

This  version is  from the "Forgotten Tales" album.

    I think I hear 2 guitars there... I'll write everything that I
    hear from their parts

    G|-----2-------------2----2-----------2----------------------|
    D|-------------------------------------------2------2--4-----|
    A|-----0------------------0----------------------------------|
    E|-----------------------------------------------------------|
                    ^^^^^_very_ fast

    Then:

This is lead guitar (nylon acoustic) part, the rhythm
(metal acoustic) part is not complete, I think Armin
plays some arpeggios together with the second part, but
I can't make out what kind of.
