Dvd X Copy

hi all i installed dvdx copy this morning and after it installed the driver files and rebooted both the cd drives wouldnt work, they werent recognised, and the driver files for them ( microsoft default) were corrupted! installed the driver files again and the same prob - eventually re installed XP so is there a similar prog that i can use?? , something not too complicated BTW.
