Changing File Extensions

Could somebody please tell me how to change file extensions please. Ive downloaded some Reason refill files that have the extension: .rfl.exe
I need to remove the .exe part for them to be used as refills in Reason. I think I have done this before in the past, following instructions but cant find those instructions now.

thts eazy. here just follow these instructions. click on my computer/tools/folder options/view and then uncheck the box where is says hide extensions 4 known file types. thts it. now u can go 2 the file and change its extension to whatever u want.
