Thread: Leeware FTP Speeds

  1. #1
I have tried seems like everything to get a decent FTP download speed off a leeware server to no avail:

I have tried. Running FTP server W/O SFTP vsftp
    Connecting to server W/O SFTP
    Disabled the selinux
Even off the webmin has same terrible speeds of 20K.

Anyone find a solution? Has one??
    Thanks

setup vstftp, open the ftp in a brower, copy shortcuts of files into download accelerator and dwonload. You should get good speed that way.

ok this is like 1000th time am saying this, use CuteFtp, set the number of global connection to 200 or more, in case of multipart's like rars parts(which is most probably what your at since your downloading from private trackers) you'll max your speed except at very last if a single or very few rar parts are remaining.
