if you have 20$ a month to invest, get a leeware seedbox, it's better than nothing and you will be able to seed on trackers like TL, REVTT without problem
leeware is a VPS, leaseweb and vectoral are dedicated servers. I can't really say I've personally had good times with VPS lol

For $60/mo I get 2TB bw, 160GB HDD, and an athlon64 on leaseweb. Looks like I win

But learning Linux is not very difficult and will give you the possibility to have a fast and stable server ;-)

Leaseweb supports Windows. In fact, they've had some fairly good deals recently on some Windows based setups with a sweet Xeon processor.

Personally, I've used both.. And my vote will always go to leaseweb. Not sure which datacenter vectoral hosts their servers in, but I do know leaseweb's locations are top notch, and b/c of their large customer base they tend to get priority.

hehe...that is a pretty good deal

Im assuming you had a promo code or something or is that an everyday deal? I would like windows though, not linux

It was one of their monthly promotions
From what I can tell, their deals tend to vary depending on how much business they do that month and what they have left over. Awesome service though, my server has been up for over a year with the only downtime being when they replaced my APC port b/c they thought it might be malfunctioning (remote reboot) which was also impressive b/c most hosts will just leave it until it actually breaks

leaseweb is excellent i agree, but stop using it because i wanted more bandwith, 2 TB isn't that much, 3 TB is better (vectoral)

I've tried both. What I liked from Leaseweb is that I used to max out download and upload speeds. Upload speed doesn't get low while downloading. It's main problem, only 2TB bandwith and price. Vectoral, good bandwith/price relation, nice hardware.

you have a point, the only thing i don't like about Vectoral is that upload speed is not awesome while you download at fast speed

    On Leaseweb speed is perfect
