Here's an example of what happends:

I'm useing an Intel Pocket PC Camera, I use USB 2.0, I have tried reinstalling the software several times (removeing the drivers from System Properties also once). Is this caused by interference? When i use the camera unpluged (running off the batterys so i can take it places) it never has the lines on any photos, and i've taken many while unplugged just to test and see if it would.. all 100s of photos.. no lines.
I've tried swaping the cord to a different usb port.. no help. Could my antivirus software be causeing this?

Try a different cable to connect it to your PC.

At least eliminate that possibility if you haven't already.

Virtually anywhere. (you can even get them at dept stores here in the US)

But, gold-plated connectors(the wires aren't gold) do absolutely no good.
