    someone please help me my system disk(windows xp) has gone missin and me comp is goin mega slow is there any program out there that puts your comp all the way too the beginnin wen u had nuffin installed ?

    With out a Install disk Or Restore Partition no . Have you tried a System Restore or ran some utilities like Tuneup 2007 , Ccleaner or mabye an online scan for viruses ? If you can access the net you can get another Win XP disk .

    just fix you computer manually. anti-spyware programs etc.

    using a restore disc will only get you back to square 1. then you will have to download and install every M$ update there has been since you bought your PC.

    besides, not all restore discs are the same. if you use one from a different mfg. you most certainly run into problems.

    btw, there's no such thing as a "student version" in the context in which it's being described.

    No student version ? Funny how all the Slipstream versions lately from Black , Indego , Gold , Indego ver, 2 , XP Custom or XP Performance have a Student key supplied . ( Did I miss any ?)

    Peat I think student is a name the scene uses. Not M$. Could be wrong.

    ive had indigo but its just xp with some things installed so i didnt like it is there any way too take my self back too square one without the installation disk is what i need too know
