i have just noticed that newsdemon now offers SSL encryption. i currently have the premium service but for ssl encryption you have to pay a bit more.
is it something that is worth the extra money.
it also seems that its going to be hard to change my account to do this as i pay via worldpay, the only way it says to do it is to cancel the account and create a new one.

ssl is not major unless your isp is limiting or spying on you, then it is good. usenetserver and megabitz both offer it free.

thank you for this. so as of yet has any newsgroup servers been target by authorities?
