Top Gear is a great show, I've been hooked on it since the sct freeleech. Clarkson is hilarious, what a crazy bastard. By the way, did anyone catch the race to the north pole?

    ....................top gear.

1 of my favorite, they do a great job.
quiet allot people make their choices and buy car by following top gear's review.

"quiet allot people"-if someone can fix my english its will be great

    Allow me

"relatively few people select their car based on Top Gear recommendations because relatively few people can afford a Ford GT40 or similar - which these days are the only cars they seem to review.

To be fair though, they usually will notice that say Kia have a new car out and they will show a picture, all chuckle and stick said picture on their "seriously uncool board" (having such a board is naff imho but hey what do I know?).

Elitist twunts springs to mind. However, they are entertaining elitist twunts, which goes some way to mitigating their twunttery.

To be fair the GT40 hasn't been made since 1969.

Well other than the concept version made in 2002 but that doesn't really count.

Which was produced as the Ford GT because unlike the GT40 it was a bit more than 40 inches tall.

I bow to your knowledge on the matter. Which one did Clarkson buy? I recall it travels about 75 miles on a full tank but the model number escapes me.

Ford GT, one of only 28 imported into the UK at the time.

If driven hard it does about 4 miles to the gallon.
