If thats true I would really consider switching to roadrunner, 7mbit in my area but only 500kbit upload, while i got 3mbit 765kbit right now with verizon. So newsgroups would be much nicer, but uploading would be worse.Originally Posted by 4play

You will have access to the most recently uploaded files, but RR may or may not carry all MP3 groups.
I don't know how long the RR retention is, but I doubt it is longer than a paid usenet server. Therefore, if you're looking for stuff that was uploaded a couple of weeks back, you might not be able to find it.
