    Also, my son would recommend Dream Theater and Porcupine Tree and my daughter, Dir en Grey (an acquired taste in my view) and a band called Mindless Self Indulgence (also an acquired taste)

    Personally I don't think you can go far wrong with Pink Floyd or Jethro Tull, and perhaps some of the newer chaps like REM.

    @Skweeky funny when i searched the author nothing came up but when i put up hand made it did then it said hand built, it was just a bit funny

    @Biggles using my conn now so i can't so i will check it later

    noteink has the best search function i have seen on any torrent site

    Check out last.fm I find a lot of good artists through that site. It logs what you listen to and recommends a few artists every week. Take a look.

    gives you heaps more control over the search functions and includes a myspace and a last.fm player so it's worth a look
