s-video to VGA

anyone know if something like this works?


id like to be able to hook up a freeview box to my PC monitor and also to my TV. (get a freeview box with 2 outputs which probably wont be to hard to find)

so if im busy on the PC my girlfriend can still watch shit on the TV but if we are both wanting to watch something can watch on my 20" pc monitor insted of crappy 14" tv.

anyone used such a thing?

and how friendly is it with something such as a KVM thing?

I think that's vga to composite/s-video, I don't think it will work the other way round.
