I did read the article.. total lunacy. It seems to me that the RIAA wants everybody else to do their dirty work. legislate this, legislate that.. all in THEIR intrest right ? WHO is supposed to pay for ALL of this? The "vendor" is not a law enforcement official, and certainly cant be mandated to alienate his customers by harvesting personal and private information, which they have no right to in the first place.

The more I read on the RIAA.. the more appearant it becomes to me that these people are just out of their minds.
