I need a new wireless router. Preferably one that does not lock up every time I open utorrent. Any suggestions. Thanks

I use Edimax, the new MIMO offerings are supposed to be very reliable.

If you're looking for a cheap one with no fancy stuff, the Linksys WRT-54G is still one of the best buys out there.

yep, and if you flash it with the dd-wrt firmware you can imo get better functionality than any other budget 54g router on the market.

I wouldnt go for the N routers yet. The N technology hasnt been finalized yet so all those current N routers are using a draft N which could be totally different from the finalized version.

If you do want to flash it with dd-wrt firmware (which i greatly recommend cause you get soooo many extra options) you will need a dd-wrt compatable router. The current linksys routers are NOT compatable except for the WRT-54GL which Linksys charges extra for it.

I recommend either the Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 or the Buffalo WHR-G125. Both are cheap compared to the linksys routers and are dd-wrt compatable.
