I've got two. I got them decades ago. It's likely the shops are out of business.

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
    so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

I thought everyone had a turntable! I have one on my stack system, 2 technics (well actually, they're my bro's) and a cool little toy called a vinyl killer.
It's a little toy van on wheels with a needle on the bottom. It drives round the record and plays it through it's built in speakers. Genius invention

futureshop.ca in canada has one or two mediocre turntables. If you want high end, you'll have to hunt down an audiophile site.
*some bands and artists still insist that a percentage of their albums Must be released on audiophile quality vinyl.

Nah I don't have one. Sometimes those big round things will break while playing.

best buy sells semi autos for about 100 dollars. and how the hell do you break a record while playing it? what are you playing it with, a swiss army knife? and oh by the by, even have an operational reel to reel.:-)

I own a JVC turntable at the moment which serves me well. I have had several "decks" over the years mostly Technics, Sony, Panasonic and JVC. There's a few really good hi-fi shops near me so I have ready access to spares and repairs, which is nice!! Anybody that's serious about music should own one - VINYL is the only way to listen to music. Mine gets way more use than my CD Player.

I've got three; a rather nice old Thorens (stored-it's just too nice to play) with a straight-arm/Concorde set-up and a Mitsubishi linear that is, regretfully, on the shelf due to a malfunction.

I have a run-of-the-mill Technics model on top of my stack.

My vinyl is gathering dust these days.
