Thread: Nero Not Recognising My Burner

  1. #1
    Hiya,

Any assistance on this problem would be great.

Bought a new Sony external burner and installed the software with it.......then realised I needed Nero to convert MP3s. Downloaded and installed it alright and it seems to be working fine, apart from on the first page with all the options, where it says "Which recorder would you like to use?" Only 1 option comes up......."Image Recorder" My burner doesn't seemed to have been autodetected???

How do I combat this problem????

Also quickly......when I try to burn CD to CD using a burnt cd as the source it comes up with copyright restrictions how do I get round this?

    Thanks for your help!

    Tim.

I think posting in the right forum section might work as well!

Aside from that, if you look down this page a ways, you'll see several Nero Ftp sites have been posted where you can get all the nero updates and new drive patches.

Just get the latest version of Nero and your burner will most likely be recognized.
