Dvl Release?

I recently downloaded the dvl release of 8 Mile. It looks like it should be the right file (716mb). Its a .avi and it says Xvid in the title. But its only sound and no video. Does the DVL in the title have anything to do with it? If not what could be the problem, is it a another fake file? I've had about 10 8 Mile downloads not work. Any info or advice will be appreciated.

You are missing the codec for it,it´s a DivX or Xvid codec you need to watch your movie,you can install the codec seperatly or just install the K-Lite Codec Pack which contains the codecs you need for your movies.
