    Cool

    My new work comp is amazing, just wanted to post the specs of it.

    Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6800 CPU 2.93GHz Processor (Quad Core)
    4GB Memory
    2 x 19" Flatscreen LCD monitors
    ATI FireGL V7300 512MB GDDR3

    This thing runs so smoothly. Just too bad I dont have something like this at home.

    What do I do? I'm a mechanical drafter, just started this tuesday with an engineering firm. I need a good computer because I'm going to be doing a lot of 3d. Currently working on doing some piping drawings in 3d for a new mining project we just started.

    Alright, what are some online benchmark programs. Since its a work comp I cant just go downloading and installing 3dmark.

    They monitor a lot of stuff, I'm not sure thought maybe I'll try it out.

    to answer this question i'm not sure if there are any streaming benchmark progs out there. 3dmark06 is pretty much the benchmark of benchmarks as of now (as far as i know). dont' get fired! it would be just cool to see some benches of that cpu u got there.
