I personally would recommend Wheels or FSC for communities.
If your just looking for a community and not the files themselves why not just join a forum like TPG though?

I also agree with some of the points mentioned about oink...
But not ALL of their staff are rude. Ive come across 2 - 3 nice ones in my time on the site.
(Theres always hope for more as well)

Hm, I'll agree with above mentions and in some of them you'll some that fits you the best.Each of above communities is different and every has some characteristic that's unique for it.
And if you care for those community, respect their rules and do not mention them in full name or acronym if they don't want to.
