I like 3ds Max's workflow a lot better then Maya's. The way the gui is and how things are handled in Max make more sense then Maya. When making render farms though, you need to make sure all of them have very similar hardware. If you use different processors and that, your render can get wacked because of how the different processors and graphic cards calculate and render out things.

Sorry about the missed post, Xilo....Hell - I having trouble navigating through this forum!! Anyway, thanks all for the info. I found (and downloaded) the crack from MaRmAR written by "Nerdfiles"....pretty simple (even for me) and above all, it worked. By the time I got back to this forum, I was already up and running. P.S. ya'll - Also like 3DS Max 5.0 except for the CDilla spyware discreet put in there. Anyone know how to get around it without screwing up the license file?

CDilla is the licence. It checks it constantly.
If you want to get 3DS Max, you'll have to live with it. But a simple 'end process' can get around it after
