Should I Upgrade?

i d/l the window xp upgrad installation and also the product key! but should i upgrad it becuz mi friend said tat the microsoft ppl can trace your computer to see if u own the real one n if u didnt they will do something??? so yes or no? n y? B)

No, you shouldn't upgrade.

Yes you can do a clean install of XP.

No Microsoft will not hunt you down and do "things" to you.

Because upgrades are messy.
New is better and safer.
More programs work and more features are available in the better installs like XP Corporate.

i got this cd from my friend and it for upgrading 2 window XP pro.
the product key also included.
But i'm not sure if microsoft would be able 2 find out that i didn't purchase the product? should i upgrade ( yes/ No) y or y not? B)

fomrat your computer, and boot up using the cd, which you should burn with nero when youve donwloaded
