"New version of popular desktop enhancement utility adds blurred glass for XP users, full Windows Vista UI skinning, animation overlays and more..."

"WindowBlinds is a one-of-a-kind utility that allows Windows users to completely change the look and feel of the Windows interface by applying a new skin. There are thousands of different skins to choose from that are freely downloadable from the WindowBlinds website. A WindowBlinds skin can make Windows look like an alternative operating system, like their favorite sports or car brand, or something completely new.

Because WindowBlinds uses the latest hardware acceleration features of modern video cards, WindowBlinds won't slow down your computer and uses very little memory.

WindowBlinds is safe and easy to use. It doesn't alter any system files and users can switch between the default Windows look and feel and a custom WindowBlinds skin with the click of a button. In addition, WindowBlinds has been tested to ensure it works with Windows Vista, so you know it is compatible, reliable and more secure."

There is a shareware version and an enhanced version that supports the advanced features ($19.95 Standalone).

I wonder how much memory is "very little memory"?

I'm using v5.5 and I can't tell a difference between MSstyles 'n WB skins...lotsa people say 6 is just as fast...

I use to be real resource conservative then I realized it doesn't make that much of a damn difference for themes and sounds.

I think WB 5.5 is even faster than msstyle (at least when i used themexp), its fast, cool and claims almost no resource. now if WB6 is even better... wow... cant wait to get my hands on that baby.

is there any hope that someone ud share WB6?

Btw, I now have WB6. It's pretty good. The blur isn't the same as Vistas, but it's alright. I love the new redesign!

Well sometimes you can have the best of both worlds , Quote from gamermans black .

" Default First load Desktop: Transperant Glass Windows fully integrated, no need to run WindowBlinds.
Shortcut to WindowBlind on start menu, so you can adjust settings, but theme runs independent of it. "

That would be fine for me .
