The quality, volume...there's just not much of it from any FM transmitter. I have one and a lot of my friends have one...We're all really disappointed from it.
However, they make great car chargersand I only use the FM transmitter if I wanna watch videos in my car.

but as you said they're not good if you want to listen on MAX, you know booster and stuff, but if its just for listening purpose i dont see any thing wrong with them, they are pretty handy and good. the only problem is getting a good signal.

it really is. Most new cars are coming with auxiliary jacks/ports to hook up mp3 players. No fussing with finding an open station, just clear music from the get-go.I hard-wired mine.
