is there a way to get around the BIOS password on a laptop, its a dell and i cant get inside (dont wanna break it and to many screws)

You gotta drain the cmos battery some how. If it's externaly accesable then your in luck. If not, then you'll have to open it.

Take out the CMOS chip.
Might take a while to get it drained.
Shorting the leads speeds things up a bit.
Otherwise, it might take up to two weeks, I heard.

ok can i take the hdd out and put it into another comp?
EDIT: im not sure if its hdd pass or BIOS my friend told me about it and hes not that good wit comps

you have to gut the laptop (get the ol'screwdriver out, and get to it!.....) find the cmos battery, pry it out of it's holder, wait 30 sec; put it back in. FISNISHED!
smart tip:
bring a digital camera. Take lots of pictures as you open her up, for referance when you close her.

im guesin my friend stole it from some corp lan, cuz it had win2k and logon domains - i did dail-up and searched the # it called, its some company in my area
EDIT: I didnt acculty dail it
