Hey, I'm pretty new to seedboxes, however I got a Windows dedicated server from Leaseweb last night, they sent me the ip addresses and login info, but I need help setting it up.

When trying to access the ip addresses using flashfxp, it doesnt let me connect.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

If you are using Xp just go to start then programs,Accesories then Communications, and last remote Desktop.
    Put In your Ip address.
    Then you will be in.
You will need to log in with your user name and password.
Change them after you log in.

Make sure your not blocked by a firewall (pg2 or winXP firewall). Go2 Remote Desktop connection, goto options, put in the details they gave you. When you login just set it up like you would your home computer. FireFox, uTorrent, firewall....and run a ftpd to ftp to your home computer

As DV8Type said once you have a rdp connection to the server set up you need to install the programs you are going to use on the server, i.e. an ftp server (there is one by default in IIS but it is pretty bad), your torrent client, firefox for web browsing etc. Utorrent is excellent for using with a seedbox because you can configure the webui and browse from your home pc and then upload the torrent files to the server via the webui.

If you mean can you install Serv-U as an FTP server, then yes, you can do that.
Then just install and configure a torrent client and you're good to go.
