Thread: How do you Optimize/Clean your Vista?

  1. #1
I haven't seen any tutorials/walkthroughs for optimizing and cleaning windows vista like i have xp.

It's just that my 8800gtx and Quad core processor should not lag when I play Oblivion - yet I lag :/.

I just got vista and I'm seriously thinking of going back to xp (4 bit of course). I would have if it were not for the fact that more and more games are beginning to prefer directx 10 over 9..

So are there any tuts on the net? I've tried google, but couldn' find any.

TuneUp Utilities is a great cleaner for vista, it also has some basic optimizing options

Boot from d drive Format , install Win XP . Problems solved . I'm being a smart ass of course but have you ever noticed Vista and a program you loved on Xp but now uses most of your memory or processes ?

Trial and error I think its called , been there got the wet t shirt .
