Would it be possible to provide people without invite section access a link purporting to be a link to the invite section, however when they click on it it takes them to a page explaining why they haven't got invite section access

I think people should be directed automatically on their first login after account confirmation to the FAQ thread of BitTorrent Invite section to avoid any more of request threads to the Invite section.

actually i agree, i think everybody without access can see this post so it just needs to be updated with additional rule and link to faq.

i didn't get updated, i read the FAQ and it pointed me to a report subforum, but it's empty.. should i post my problem there in order to have it solved?

Obviously you haven't been a moderator..
If you had a job of telling noobs to reading the FAQ everyday, which they don't and then they come on here whining and complaining..
then you will be very peeved off and stressed!!

I can understand the level of frustration but afterall i did read the whole thread on the problem and saw nothing more than a few feasable comments.

I'd expect a little more dignity in the way you point me to the FAQ.

I mean, the FIRST POST after I explain myself is a perfect example of why I get pissed off.

From that, then you can tell them to read the FAQ angrily but apart from that i was only trying to explain my problem.

Honestly i never noticed an FAQ and i browsed through the forums in great detail shortly after i registered. I've seen the rules and what not. But, salutations to what you guys do, it seems updated and well looked after (the whole FST community).

Apoligies if i caused some sort of hostility between the whole discussion.
