I think GF did a much better version, when I heard the kid rock version I thought he was doing a cover of the Goldfinger cover...
I get a little upset whenever a band has to do a cover of someone else's writing to just get noticed:
Limp Bizkit - Faith
Marylin Manson - Sweet Dreams
Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal
Orgy - Blue Monday
and so forth
don't get me wrong, some of those versions are good but bands shouldn't have to use an old chart topper just to get to get to that same place on the charts.

I agree with Gutter, that Kid Rock cover is horrible. One thing I hate even more that Kid Rock's version of that song, is the trend in pop music to sample entire songs. Not just a hook or a beat but really just about the entire song, sung to new lyrics.
