Its just too many newcomers not paying attention to the rules... They dont read the forum description and make mistakes, happens to everyone but there will always be someone to guide them correctly.

I wonder how many people ever take the time to read the entire contents of this board every day?
Now imagine doing that every half hour or so.
It's absolutely neccesary that members assist in any way they can.
Think community for a moment here. The board exists only as long as members continue to feel comfortable enough to be a part of this community.
With so many members, so many different views and beliefs, so many differing values, the task of assessing what those views and beliefs are is an ominous task.

We have only a handfull of moderators with 32,680 members (although only a fraction of those may be on at any one time).
I think that's quite an amazing ratio. It shows just how well this forum and this community really works.
All of you have a pretty direct impact on the mood and quality of this community.
There really aren't that many defined rules either. Without direct feed back on what you find acceptable, or comfortable, the atmosphere of this forum would not be what it is.
I rely heavilly on your feedback. Without it, I have no way of understanding what you are comfortable with, what makes you come back, what would make you leave.
There are occasions where something is clearly not in the best interest of the community or even a small part of it.
For the rest, I often wait untill I see your comments, good or bad, before making any decisions or taking any action.
It might be some time before I see a post, if ever!
It's extremely important then that people contact us when they have a concern or a question.
That's not "snitching", that's just doing your part for the community.

i agree with you shn, there are too many peole trying to act like mods. one iv noticed who complains alot is Neil__. he cant seem to comprehend that other people have different views than him

You are really on my last nerve HMPL...i will see that you get banned for sure. I do bother anyone unless i seem to notice very much spamming and i have never even said i wanted to be a mod....i only help them out when i notice a person doing something with really needs to be stopped. The mods DO tell us to tell them about things that people should not be doing, so you know what..i do. HMPL you are on my top of my list as needing to be banned.
