They are addons but they are piss easy to install, well if you have a nvidia card. If you have an ati card you can use xgl which is poor or wait for decent drivers which should be out by the end of the month hopefully.

Just installed Xubuntu in my Pentium M 1.2GHz 512MB laptop... Installation only took around 15 mins... It's f'n lightweight and my laptop boots up in less than 30 seconds and shuts down in less than 5 seconds.
