I may be the only one that is anxious to see this movie, but it looks great.

SYNOPSIS


In the explosive action-thriller S.W.A.T. starring Samuel L. Jackson and Colin Farrell, and inspired by the '70s television series, Farrell portrays Jim Street, an L.A.P.D. officer whose recent demotion to a desk job leaves him desperate for a second chance to don the elite S.W.A.T. uniform. That break comes when team commander Hondo (Jackson) is assigned to recruit and train five top-notch officers for a new Special Weapons and Tactics unit (S.W.A.T.).

After weeks of rigorous physical training, the new team is quickly thrown into action when a notorious drug lord, played by Olivier Martinez (Unfaithful), offers a $100 million reward to anyone who can free him from police custody. While accompanying the drug lord out of Los Angeles into the hands of the Feds, the S.W.A.T. team is pursued by a dangerous and well-armed band of reward seekers. -- © Columbia Pictures

It's going to be interesting what people do to get him out, and collect on their $100 million.

i saw the previews and i was like looks like a kool movie but then i saw him. the single person that will ruin any movie he is in. the single worst casting ever done. it was... ::dramatic music:: LL Cool J this will and is the single and only reason i will most likly not see the movie. the rest of the casting is great except him.

I completly understand that, but that mexican girl from Fast and the Furious and Girl Fight makes up for it. (Damn she's hot)

Why did they have to cast him its not as if they cant sell the film on who they already have
Should have made a movie just for LL and call it T.W.A.T

See, what bothers me is that they just HAVE to portray the "evil" drug lord as Spanish. I want to see a movie where the bad guy is a clean-cut, middle-age American tycoon, white as the background to this post, and fresh off the mayflower

Ok finally they made a movie of this kind i thought they never wud ive been waitin bout 6 years now for this sorta movie came out im so fasinated by S.W.A.T hopes i can join if i can keep my record clean
