Flashfxp is the scene standard. FTPs will max your transfer, unlike BT.

not necessarily true but sometimes true.

for a site to max out your bw it has to be located somewhat close to you. i'm in california and if i tried to connect to a topsite in china or some crazy place like that i don't think i would have very good speeds. (are there even top sites in china?)


bit torrent always maxes out my download on private trackers because i am getting the data from everywhere. rarely does it not max out, but at the same time if you are trying to transfer to a gigabit line then it would be harder to max out then a ftp.

Just ignore these guys blabbing on about bs like "FTPs suck" and "Anything that isn't legit is pointless". They are allowed to have their own opinion but *IMHO* they are full of shit. Anyways, I hope you appreciate my answer. There are private boards that exist, but I personally use IRC more frequently than boards to share FTPs. Happy leeching
