not necessarily true but sometimes true.

for a site to max out your bw it has to be located somewhat close to you. i'm in california and if i tried to connect to a topsite in china or some crazy place like that i don't think i would have very good speeds. (are there even top sites in china?)


bit torrent always maxes out my download on private trackers because i am getting the data from everywhere. rarely does it not max out, but at the same time if you are trying to transfer to a gigabit line then it would be harder to max out then a ftp.

All i have to say i had a seedboxs in usa sl and in eu i was download stuff frm my friends server i was only get like 500k maxs when i had gigabit speed that sucked but i moved 2 eu now i hit around about 70mb/s on my ftprush

The FXP scene relied on hacked computers. If you can find a 100mbit box, why not exploit it? If the box is exploitable, it usually means the sysadmin knows very little about security.

yes the fxp scene does, aka short for fxp board scene.

it is a terrible place to be imho. if you want ftp go on racing sites where the boxes are at least legit and organized not a free for all.
