Thread: wrong file extension

    i accidently saved a 400mb video with a firefox document extension, now i cant play the file because windows gets confused. is there any programs i can use to re-save it with a wmv extension?

    just install VLC and play it though that instead !
    plays almost every video codec format that is know to man !

    i only had to change the folder options then re-name it!

    My Firefox does that sometimes, all you have to do is change the file extension to whatever it should be by un-checking "Hide extensions for known file types" in windows folder options and then just rename it .wmv or whatever it may be.
