Thread: Do You Have A Limit?

  1. #1
There are some VERY expensive programs avaliable on Kazaa, such as Maya Unlimited ($6000) and others.. Do you have a limit, money wise, on what you download? I do, of $10,000. It feels like I am robbing a bank or something if I go over that mark. I'm not bashing kazaa or anything, I guess i just have a guilty conscience .

edit: everytime I say kazaa i mean k-lite of course .

Do I know what Maya Unlimited is ? - no
Is it likely to be any use to me ? - no
    Will I download it ? - no
Do I care how much it costs ? - no
Do they care if you download something that is no use to you ? - probably not.

Same is true of most of the software available on P2P.

It is more likely to be cheaper but very popular software packages which are exchanged the most, and consequently have the highest commercial loss.

I only download what will be of use to me, the 'cost' is irrelevant, expensive packages are usually aimed at a small market and support issues often make it uneconomical for the targeted end users to use pirated versions.

I gave MAYA a test drive once, and I'd need a $10,000.00 college degree to understand it.

My limit would probably be if it was software from a small struggling independant company, but the major companies, screw that, they're rich enough as it is
