Usenetserver.com problems

I stopped the autorenewal and will continue using it for the month (whatever I can get, I guess) then I don't know if I should pay for a different one or just use my ISP's...even though it's much slower.

I to stopped auto renew on mine as well, I am going to give http://www.powerusenet.com/ 5 day trial a go and then maybe stick with them. They are comparable price wise to usenetserver and even have a few extra days retention. BTW thanks for suggesting them ne'tu.

Anyone try PowerUsenet lately?
I tried them about a year ago, and although they were stable speeds were only mediocre. That also could have been because they were only offering five connections at the time.

I haven't decided between them and a Giganews Platinum account yet. An extra 100 days retention my come in handy.

what about newshosting? giganews seems to be the best, but $25 a month? Seems like a lot. I don't know if I can justify that since my isp's is usually good...just not as fast.

I got the 5 day trial with powerusenet and the speed sucks so I just canceled. So I just signed up with Thundernews Unlimited + ssl package and finally getting my max speeds again.

Hopefully it stays like this and I will stick with them.

newshostng are not profitably ,no ssl ,45/75 days retention.you can take much better for the same money.

I'm having Power Usenet now and I like it: I'm maxing out my 6 Mb connection and the retention is good.

I'm also having Ngroups but the retention is not that good and many groups are missing so I'll cancel my subscription.

I have a 6Mb down connection and I was lucky to see more than 350-400 KB/s I always usually get between 750-800+ KB/s .

Maybe I did not give it a chance really I was so fed up with usenetserver that when after a day the speed did not get better I canceled and started looking again.
