How is leaving our computers on all day and night helping global warming?
nice idea squirr3l .. yeah stop everything and get urself locked up on a room to prevent radiation
Totally flawed argument. It's probably safe to asume that the majority of energy used in the powering of computer systems and data transfer comes from fossil fuels, with the only result being a series of '0's & '1's. Producing a physical product can at least make use of recycling systems, making a real difference to the environment as opposed to just the release of carbon dioxide.
The issue is a coin with many many sides.
