saw another thread about isp fees so i figure this would be admissible in this section (presumably you have 100mbit for BT purposes hehe)

curious how much the lucky ppl with 100mbit at home (not through seedbox) pay for it? (mostly Sweden i guess)

also plz mention if the bandwidth usage is capped and if you want, include the name of the isp/your location

The prize depends largely on the country you're living in and if a product like this is available to the private customer. For someone to understand b2b prizes, you need to understand that the level of quality and support is what makes these figures so high. An important example is the assurance of quality and speed because a private connection will have 100MBit as the "best possible value", the reality can be far below - not something you can tell the business customer.

With that said, the fastest private Internet access I know of in Germany is 100/10 for 39.90€ monthly (roughly 60 usd) through a fiber optics technology for some thousand possible homes. For a 100/100 business connection you need to think about 5000 € (+7000 usd) at last and that is a value without flatrate traffic. Connections this fast are much cheaper if you can manage to put a server in some data center because they have enough infrastructure available to make it reasonably affordable.

And forget about that in america, we're still paying $1500 for a T1 line.

That's only available to a very limited public, to be more detailed I'm talking about the fiber optics network in Cologne (Köln) which is maintained by NetCologne under the name of CityNetCologne and here's the ISP who runs the network.

I'm not from Cologne, not even from Germany for that matter, so I sadly won't get to use that connection either

100 mbit connection for home is to expensive... requires a T1 line. I'm waiting for FIOS to get to my neck of the woods.
