    im having problems with trying to play hd content
    im guessing my computer is too old and cant play these files
    but ive heard that some ppl have crappier computers than me being able to play 720 content
    so if anyone has any suggestions with what is the best codec and player to play HD

    media player classic or/and VLC from videolan.

    Get the CoreAVC decoder.

    CoreAVC is definitely the best you could also try PowerDVD with HW acceleration.

    CoreAVC should work for 720p

    coreAVC is the best for older computers. I find that powerDVD needs a little bit more power (unless your video card supports HD).

    stupid question and by no means trying to thread jack, is there any way to burn a x264 rip to play on a dvd player?
