mobo: Abit or Asus, both great brands
video: the 8800 mentioned above will actually run you between $400-500 US dollars, I think 8600 version will work just as good for now, make sure its a GDDR3, it will be atleast another 6mths before anybody needs an 8800. Unless money grows on trees for you.... ;-)

Rosewill psu and cases are great, I'm using three psu's right now for my comps. Working very nice. I also have a Rosewill case, it's pretty sweet.

Don't forget, keeping your parts cool is probably the most important factor in a computer, esp with nice parts like these. water cooling i think right now is best.

    Wrong.
As I said, the prerelease price is targeted at between $200 to $250 and once stock hits the channels the currently listed prices (for parts that aren't available yet...) should drop to those levels.

If your going to get an 8800 this is one to get.

Otherwise a 8600 256bit will work just as good for 100$ cheaper.

I thought you were talking about the new 384bit cards...

Oh yeah, that's exactly were I was doing my price check.

    The forum would be JonnyGuru.com.

Rosewill is Newegg's house brand and depending on the model could be just about anything.

Weren't you the guy who just recently was prepared to spend over a grand on the CPU alone?
Would you be willing to risk that chip on a <$50 power supply?
YEAH! I'v been trying to find out where I knew you from. JG I forgot about that place Great site! Well When I got it I think it was $110 or something like that I just found out that it's now $44. Im going to upgrade the PSU as well. Right now I'm looking at the Corsair HX 620W too ( Thanks to JG and now Clocker )
