no, utorrent was bought by bittorrent.inc which is partnered with the MPAA. there is no reason to think that the 1.6.1 release or any later releases are defective or spying on you. i use azureus and with private torrent sites i am gettin very quick 1.2mb - 1.5mb download speed. seeding is a different story though, im lucky to get 1 mb upload (i usually get around 70 kb/s).
