kaspersky 7 tweaks ? suggestions ?

i uninstalled avg and installed kaspersky internet security suite 7 now .

i do a lot of torrenting and i dont want kaspersky to interfere with the downloads or uploads . so is there any tweaks or settings should that i should change to run KIS7 without interfering with my internet speeds ?

Sorry had to laff you dumb shit . I do mean that in a nice way tho . I'v given up with KIS 7 and recommend KAV 7 and a good firewall . Others have got KIS 7 to work but I don't have the patience any more .

i actually like kis, it is nice and fast comparing to version 6, i have it on one machine. everything but firewall is pretty much turned off most of the time tho

as for original question, there is a setting "maximum compatibility" in firewall settings that you might want to check if using p2p. besides that, based on how powerful your system is (or isn't), you might want to turn off live file scanning and scan files that you don't trust after they are downloaded.

as for firewall, nothing beats hardware router or separate internet box/router. running on debian of course

nah, i actually got to use a legit version
i can imagine blacklisting keys is frustrating, but as kis is very popular i'm sure there are many hints all over internets on how to circumvent it, none of which we may discuss here without breaking board rules tho

He probably has the same opinion as me on Kaspersky.

I just got fed up with KIS7 last night as I had another key get blacklisted after a relatively short amount of time.

Neither of us have the patience for it any more and have moved on. I'm using NOD32 now.
