    uhh..i think this is the cause :
    Dear Tv Show lovers, I think you know that the writers in the USA are in strike and many shows are affected by their measure. Lets hope that we don't remain without "fresh material" so soon. Read more about this here:

    It's not really because of the writers strike, they did this last year as well. It goes away for a couple of months then comes back. I forget exactly why they do this, maybe to give shows like 24 & Sarah Conner chronicles more hype/attention.

    ABC also does this with Lost
    NBC does it with Heroes as well.
