Thread: "Downloaded part xxx is corrupted" but is it? Recovery after blackout.

  1. #1
Hi, I'm downloading some DVD images using eMule Plus v1.2a. They've been transferring for a few days when a blackout shut down my computer abruptly.

After the reboot eMule re-hashed one of the images automatically, and since then (at least I'm guessing since then) it reports "Downloaded part xxx is corrupted" for every single part downloaded on that file. The others have 0% corruption ratio. The images are more or less the same kind, so I can assume (I know, I know, assume makes an ass of u and me) that the image is not corrupt.

Is there a way to clean up or recover somehow a part file. Or to re hash it? Or I've lost 2 gigs of downloaded data?

    Thanks for the help.

After researching on this problem, which I too faced, I have compiled the information into a single page >> Corrupted Emule File Recovery
