Anyone Who Knows Animation Shop!

Im a N0ob in Animation Shop, i'been trying to do this but i can't:

Im trying to take an animation out of an Avi File, its an 1700 frames animation pleaz tell me what have i been doing wrong?

file>new
i choose Transparent
then
Right click on animation> insert frames> from file>

THEN

Then OK
It takes a while and then i get the first pic in a frame and the others frames in black i dunno why

ANY HELP

I have the Trial Version you think that is the prob?

Try using TMPGEnc plus to crop out the section you want, then open it from file in animation shop.
1700 frames is a hell of a lot. You got enough ram to handle that? The sigs you see here are about 20 frames average. You can reduce size by removing all the similar frames and cropping the important parts of the images. Then run it through the optimization wizzard and save it. Open it in IE and check the properties for file size.
