Problem With Downloaded Files

in mid download i can view most of them fine with AVI preview...but once they're downloaded they don't work...i've searched for answers but haven't found the right topic i guess

any suggestions?

just to add...

i'm downloading movies...usually .avi files

when they get done downloading they are no longer viewable and from what it seems to look like is the audio tracks are being deleted upon completion...i check the files with gspot and the only prob is there's no audio...it says the file has no audio...yet they work fine in avi preview before they're finished downloading

i've updated the kodecs to the latest version of k-lite codec pack

i'm running windows 2k
