i agree with you fatcat69, despite my recent dribble, i believe that making friends is the core of the whole thing... wether on a trackers irc or in a forum such as FST or even on msn an things of that nature... as you say, you meet people, make friends and take it from there. a perfect example of this is shown in this thread.. i have gotten some good sites from generous people a few from here.. but my main accounts i've gotten through good friends.. being a friendly generous person yourself, also helps..

That won't happen.

In my Tracker Account Guide for the masses thread, over 75% of the posts were requests to sticky it, including some by tracker staff. If the thread isn't an absolutely necessity to the pertinent discussion, it won't have a chance of getting stickied.

Give it a rest. As I've already told you, your guide held nothing new and the same basic information was already posted in another sticky. That sticky subsequently has been removed as the information was so basic that the amount of views had dropped to almost nil.

getting invited to sites where users have invites seemed pretty easy for me regardless of the site. its those damn ones where you have to know an admin to get in that are hard, even though i want them for the right reasons it doesnt matter because those guys get hundreds of pm's with people saying they want in for the right reasons and 90% of them only want it because they cant have it or because of its level.

Well the average bit torrent user wont progress that far up the site ladder. For that, refer to my other guide on irc, its all about who you know!
