what i would like to do is make my own yahoo home page that i can put all my favorite sites into and set up how i want it. What i wanting is have a icon of my bank, ebay this site and so on that i can click on and it goes to where i want to. If it is possible what program will make it for me. It would have also links to the news and a search bar and all normal things people look at.

That's basically what I've done, except without the icons... I don't think you can have icons (yet!)

You can have a list of favourite links down the left-hand side ("Bookmarks"), and then choose whatever standard content you want in the middle and the right-hand side, such as news, weather, email, TV listings, etc.

Go to http://my.yahoo.com and follow the instructions. You'll need a yahoo account of course.
