Thread: I Was Just Wondering...

Why it has taken this long for any p2p program to implement, the using of
Stealth for hiding files shared?
It seems to me, that for as long as I can remember, that security has always been a giant factor when it comes to anything to do with the internet.
Should stealth mode always have been includedfrom the very beginning?

and also, does it really work? I mean the new K+++. How do we know for sure that it is doing as it says it does?

Well, I'd say it's the best thing going at the moment.

If you don't use it - what else you gonna use - nuthin!

Even if it's not "all that" it's better than anything else available right now.

If you reffering to the hide others from seeing your shred files...
I've tested this between two computers an it does work.
As for hiding you IP this becomes a different matter alltogether.

As for whats better in these terms...
You could use ES5, which has proxy use built in, if you can get use to the GUI.
If you worried about your ISP watching you, which is very rare, you could use a p2p like Filetopia, which has encrypyion built in, though only a limited number of users.
